Why Slovakia is complex
Slovakia sets minimum pay by how demanding the job is.
Slovakia's Labour Code ties minimum pay to job difficulty, and its fight against illegal work reaches the companies that buy it.
Pay by job level
Beyond the minimum wage, Slovak law sets higher minimums for more demanding jobs where no collective agreement sets the pay.
Registered before work
Employees are registered with the Social Insurance Agency before they start, and postings are notified to the National Labour Inspectorate.
Illegal work
A company that uses work from a supplier employing people illegally can be fined too.
The solution
Ready to go for Slovakia.
If a supplier's illegal work can become your fine, the Slovak template has to reach your suppliers, and it does.
- 01 · Notification on fileThe posting notification to the National Labour Inspectorate is kept on file.
- 02 · Job level recordedEach worker's job level is noted, so it is clear which minimum applies.
- 03 · Suppliers declare tooCompanies in your supply chain declare their own workers, so you can see who is employed by whom.
- 04 · One status eachEvery status carries its reason, after a reviewer has checked what each worker sent in.
